La Maison aux Volets Bleus is a charming holiday rental house situated in the small French village of Rodes ( in the department of Occitanie), on the main N116 road to Andorra about 25 minutes from Perpignan.
It is a two/three bedroom villa on two three floors, with two bathrooms and can sleep up to 7 people. The main living area is on
the ground floor and consists of open plan kitchen, dining and living room, plus separate laundry and second bathroom
(shower only). There are two bedrooms rooms on the first floor; one room with a queen bed, plus a second bedroom with two
single beds. The third (mezzanine) level looks down over the landing area of the floor below and consists of a double and single
bed on a mezzanine floor above. Car parking is in the town itself, which is a short walk of about 50 metres. The
house is fully furnished and ready for your next holiday, including; Flat screen TV, WiFi, washing machine, vacuum cleaner,
microwave, thermal oven, pots & pans, all cutlery and cooking utensils, linen, duvets, pillows etc.

Rodes is within 30 minutes of the beaches west of Perpignan. It is 10 minutes from Ille-sur-Tet, which has two supermarkets, also the same distance to Vinca. Prades, a larger town with more facilities, including a large Thursday market, is only a 20 minute drive away.
Historic centres such as Villefranche-de-Conflent are about 25 minutes away. Excellent walking trails, cycle tracks, castles, priories and monasteries etc abound within the area. Nearby towns are Bouleternère at 2.11 km, Vinça at 3.18 km, Rigarda at 4.31 km, and Ille-sur-Têt at 5.03 km. All have good cafes and restaurants, whilst Prades and Ille-sur-Tet being slightly larger, have better shopping options and supermarkets.
